I saw this and my troubles melted away, fantastic work by Madeline Sharafian go check out her work on vimeo and spread the word around.
This video is it to do with a free to play game that sets the player on a task to collect 100 orbs, the trick is that the more orbs they collect the slower the speed of light gets. Check out the video and go to the link provided.
A team of Japanese researchers has achieved something incredible: they’ve captured, for the first time ever, a movie which shows how thoughts form in the brain. OK, so it’s a thought forming in the brain of a zebrafish.
A excellent adventure awaits two young men.
Just saw this a moment ago and thought it deserved to get more recognition.
Second version of the Sally Mech after she has been weaponized by Robotinic.
For Jason Canty of www.angryvikingpress.com
About 5 hours to redo the the design using the previous mech Sally as a template.
Hello all, well aside from various problems that have been getting in my way this past week I managed to complete a kind of “freebie”, in part for the good business I’ve had with Mr Canty and his company http://www.angryviking press.com I decided to redo one of his characters in my own interpretation.
Build time was spread over a day or two and done totally in Zbrush (with a little prework on the base model shape in Blender).
I have some stills of the work plus the videos, one from Youtube and one in Vimeo, unlike the last Mech Sally model video, this one seemed to get the short end of the stick when it came to converting to Youtube this time, so Vimeo might be better choice if you want to see it full screen, however the midscreen in youtube is still watchable.
Referances were based on Igunanas in the real world, images from Mr Cantys DA site (http://jasoncanty.deviantart.com/) and a little fantasy flair from my own head.
Recently got a excellent video of Cerebus wip from What comics Entertainment, using a combination of some of the characters I modeled with colour and lighting, and thought it was too good to pass up posting here. Its really coming along with the project, cant wait to see it in full!
Video is only 5 seconds long so a few replay are in order to see the nice added detail the texture artist did, also the lighting is great for the scene.
Would have had more to show, but unfortunately I had a number of errors and lost work that will have to be redone, so till then here is series of tests that I’m working on to add something to the turntable display.
Test 01 – Good result but add issues with the side parts of the wheel, so more work needed. Render time 15mins
Test 02 – Changed a number of settings on the floor, adding a amount of stickyness to the tire to have the smoke cling a little more. Render time 15mins
Test 03 – Adding a little movement, managed to clear the smoke from the sides. Render time 30mins
Test 04 – Similar scene with a black background to make it easier to see, need to clear the grippyness of the smoke now as it seems to be a little too heavy off the ground now. Render time 40mins.
Hello all again, its been a busy few days so I’ve got a fair bit of work done, currently I’m finishing off the Akira bike (the control panel is proving tricky) but until I’m happy with it here is a short film by a collection of Taiwanese Students at the National Taiwan University of Arts.
Here is their site and below their video, please sit back and enjoy, afterwards leave a note on their vimeo site .
