Well its been a hectic couple of days, I decided to finally try an do another MLP pony, since I haven’t ever been happy with my last attempts (due to my lack of skill or just not being able to get the colouring or hair to match etcetc) and since there was a competition involving Bronies vs Benders (from airbender and MLP subreddit fans). So it was good motivation to get this done before the deadline.
All done in Blender and done in roughly 2 days (giving a short period of man flu taking me down).
Originally I wanted to do them resting in a field with her pet rabbit and lots of grass about but the pc is hitting its limit (its beginning to cut out graphically which isn’t a good sign) so I went with a sky scene since it seemed more interesting for Snoo to be able to get a great view of Ponyville from the sky.
Once I have my new machine I can possibly get that image done.
Other info:
Fluttershy is riggable and done to be animated. But her cutie mark is a project image of her sign onto her rump, her image was used from a deviantart by the name of Grendopony which just saved me having to make a alphed version by myself, also doing it as a projection saved me having to uv and texture the character.
This also is the same for the eyes, which other then the eyeballs which are a sheet of white I used project to put the iris and pupils on.
Snoo is made up of a bunch of spheres and one tube and plane which I bent and projected to give the antenna and mouth. He also is riggable in his posed version but I also have a static version that could make for a great little vinyl toy.
Oh and a partial making of video is on the way.
