Been feeling a little drained for inspiration, whilst I have work on the burner, my patience for render times has been running thin of late, so in a effort to get my brain on something different, Ive been looking up Unity since its got a free ios and Android give away lincense thing going at the moment (still going on till April, get it whilst you can) and doing a little sketching of level design for a race track.

Im a fan of the old Extreme G series on the pc and gamecube, and as such thought up some designs for tracks and bikes in a similar flavour. Nothing too serious, just something to give me brain something different to work on.

Tonight I did a bit of work on a recreation of the Akira Bike, why that bike? Because its awesome, thats why.

So here is a little wip image on a recreation of the Akira Bike, still wip (obviously) but I thought it made a nice wallpaper .

I think I’ll use cycles to render this once its done,  found very nice materials thanks to generous people in the Blender community and those on the G+ blender group.

Why am I happy about this? Because it beats getting nothing at all, after spending hours crafting a resume and covering letter for that particular business, and then sitting on my hands hoping to hear a responce.

I dont know if I should be considering this a good thing, since I should be getting at least a interview, but it’s better then the maybe/maybe not limbo situation, that can happen all too often when waiting for a responce .
