Well after a mildly disappointing week I’ve been working on my main models and finally got one near enough finished to post in its entirety. Lucario is owned by Nintendo, I just wanted to build it.
This doesn’t include materials or anything other then the parts of the body, your free to do as you want with him, but if you do use him please give credit to the owners and the modeller (namely me ).
Im going to work on him now to add fur and textures of my own, others have expressed interest in doing the texturing and Im fine with that. So please enjoy.
Made in 3dsmax and is in OBJ format
These guys (http://www.grasp.upenn.edu/) make awesome robots do awesome things (http://www.youtube.com/user/TheDmel) That is all.
(Side note, not sure were the video is but they also make robots dance, in tandem, really really well).
Wow what a busy set of weeks, as you can see I have been working on 4 projects.
Lucario has gotten a reworking, his body has been redone and now should be a lot easier to animate.
Tina is still being worked on in Zbrush, Her hands need enlarging and the smaller details need adding now (wrinkles and folds), I did the hair piece (which I think suits the body type quite well). Its coming along slowly but steadily.
The Rouge/Samus suit, I visit the Chan sites from time to time and noticed a few weeks back they had added a new catagory for 3d work. I browsed the piece people were putting up and came across a discussion on ripped game characters from Nintendo games and old Dreamcast games, somewhere along the way I ended up getting a idea to remodel Rouge the bat from the Sonic series into a Samus-esk fighter with her own type of suit. Above you see the current progression of the suit from its early prototype (done in under 3-4 hours) to the current one which has had some major adjustmunts. Her suit follows the colour scheme of her current suit and has the abilitie to hold jems within the breast compartment. Ive had some good feedback from this and supposadly some people might use it for a little trolling on the /v/ boards , ah well as long as it not malicious I dont mind. Once its done Ill post a zip of the final piece all over so people can play around with it.
Finally I’m working on a character I just call “SpeakerMan”, he is being made for a Music studio, currently this is just me trying out props on the face, (which in itself will need more work), will finally (hopefully) look like a messed up t-1000 with sound equipment force-ably attached to its face.
So, busy busy and that’s just the stuff I can show at the moment!
(Current total of models in backlog: 75)
